Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel Killiney, Ireland
The Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel is a 4-star, 113 bedroom hotel located just side Dublin City Centre. The Dungeon Bar is located in the basement of the castle. The cocktail bar was designed as a relaxed and informal space available to both hotel guests and the public.
During the course of the renovations it was discovered that the space comprised elements of the structure dating back to the medieval period. The scheme involved integrating these historical elements of the building, such as the newly-discovered base of a 13th century turret to create a warm, inviting, convivial venue.
