The Studio Dublin
The Studio is an exclusive new private members’ club located within Dublin’s iconic 3Arena — one of the world’s top ten busiest music venues. Commissioned by Live Nation Ireland, Ellis Design Studio was tasked with reimagining the space as a vibrant, contemporary destination that captures the energy and anticipation of live performance.
Inspired by the thrill of the spotlight, the roar of the crowd and the unmistakable atmosphere of a night on stage, the design pays homage to the eclecticism and creativity at the heart of both the 3Arena and the city of Dublin. The result is a space that feels expressive, characterful and deeply rooted in the culture of performance.
The interior blends the relaxed aesthetic of a listening lounge with vintage inflection and an off‑beat colour palette, layered over the industrial fabric of the existing building. This fusion creates an environment that is convivial, spirited and joyfully eclectic.
A curated mix of patterns and textures introduces a sense of dynamism, while warm lighting and tactile materials lend an inviting, lived‑in quality. Perforated timbers reference the language of recording studios, and record displays, poster art and vintage speakers celebrate the heritage of music and performance.
Artwork throughout the space draws on iconic moments from the 3Arena’s history, reinforcing its identity as a cultural landmark. The Studio is designed as a joyful, social and personality‑infused venue — a place that resonates with the love of live entertainment.
