The Studio is an exclusive private members’ club within Dublin’s landmark 3Arena — one of the world’s top ten busiest music venues. Ellis Design Studio was commissioned by Live Nation Ireland to reimagine the space, creating a warm, eclectic and personality‑rich environment that captures the anticipation and energy of live performance.

This project marks Ellis Design Studio’s third private members’ club within a major arena setting, reinforcing our expertise in designing high‑impact, guest‑driven hospitality spaces for entertainment venues.

A Listening‑Lounge Aesthetic with Dublin Character

The interior concept blends the relaxed sensibility of a listening lounge with an off‑beat, vintage‑inflected colour palette. Industrial elements from the existing building are woven into the design, creating a spirited, convivial atmosphere that feels both contemporary and rooted in the cultural identity of Dublin.

The space takes the relaxed aesthetic of a listening lounge, mixed with a vintage inflection and off‑beat colour palette, and blends it with the industrial aesthetic of the building to create a space which is convivial, spirited, eclectic and joyful.

Music‑Inspired Detailing

The Studio’s design language is shaped by a curated mix of patterns, textures and references to recording‑studio craft. Perforated timbers nod to acoustic panelling, while record displays, poster art and vintage speakers celebrate the heritage of performance at the 3Arena.

Warm lighting, tactile materials and layered textures create an inviting sense of affability — a comfortable, social environment designed for pre‑ and post‑show hospitality.

Crafted for High‑Capacity Hospitality

With extensive experience across arena hospitality, private members’ clubs and premium F&B environments, Ellis Design Studio approached The Studio with a focus on operational robustness and emotional resonance. The result is a space that supports high‑capacity guest flow while delivering a memorable, characterful experience.

The Studio continues our longstanding collaboration with Live Nation, following projects including Upstairs at the 1878 and spaces within the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
